11 year old Hazel McGarvie (Troon Ladies) was joint winner in her age group of the U.S. Kids European Championships recently. 3 rounds are played over one of the Gullane courses in this scratch event. Hazel finished tied with Martha Lewis on 234 so great scoring from both girls. The top two girls from each age group qualify to play in the team event - Western Europe against the Internationals where Hazel and Martha won by 4 & 3 and the team won by 8 points to 5.
