Despite a number of Scottish players in contention after the 2nd round of the Helen Holm, Australian Kirsten Rudgeley shot a final round 66 to take the title. She won by one stroke from Emily Toy (England) and Hannah Darling (Scotland)
Hazel MacGarvie was the best placed Ayrshire player finishing 5th with an 8 under par total. Next was Louise Duncan who finished 10th on 3 under then Luisa Gibson was tied 28th on 6 over par.
Good luck to Hazel and Louise who are off to Ireland on Saturday as part of the Scottish team competing in the European Ladies Team Championship at Royal County Down.
